Council's swimming pools will be open from 16 November 2024 to 10 March 2025. For the 2024/2025 season, Council has resolved that all swimming pools will be accessible free of charge during normal opening hours. The minimum hours the pools will be open to the public are listed below:

   Jeparit   Nhill, Dimboola, Rainbow 
 Monday to Friday   4:00pm - 7:00pm   3:30pm - 6:30pm
 Weekends & School Holidays   2:00pm - 7:00pm  2:00pm - 7:00pm
 All Swimming Pools will be closed on Christmas Day.
 
Catastrophic Fire Danger Ratings

Whenever the Country Fire Brigade (CFA) declares a Catastrophic Fire Danger rating, Council will close all Swimming Pools for the day. For more information about Catastrophic Fire Danger ratings, visit the CFA website.

Registrations

Although our Swimming Pools are free of charge you are required to register for the 2024/2025 summer season by completing a registration form below- (copies will also be available at all pools)

Nhill Swimming Pool

Location: Whitehead Avenue, Nhill

Facilities:
- Solar heated, outdoor 25m x 12.5m, six lane pool
- Learners/hydro pool
- Beach entry play pool
- Shaded Picnic areas
- Showers & Toilets  

Dimboola Swimming Pool

Location: Off Lloyd Street, Dimboola

Facilities: 
- Solar heated outdoor 50m x 13m, six lane pool
- Toddlers’ pool
- Shaded picnic areas 
- Showers & Toilets

Jeparit Swimming Pool

Location: Sands Avenue, Jeparit

Facilities: 
- Solar heated, outdoor 20m x 9m pool
- Toddlers’ pool
- Shaded picnic areas
- Showers & Toilets

 

Rainbow Swimming Pool

Location: Park Street, Rainbow

Facilities:
- Outdoor 25m T shaped, six lane pool
- Toddlers’ pool
- Shaded picnic areas
- Showers & Toilets

 

 

Food and Drink

Canteens will not be operating but staff will have icy-poles available for a small donation. Community members and visitors are encouraged to support local businesses and BYO refreshments (no glass) to the pool. Consumption and/or the taking of alcohol into swimming pools or grounds is strictly prohibited, as is smoking and vaping.

Children's Safety

Children under 10 must be supervised by a parent, and children younger than six require a parent within arm’s reach. All parents, guardians and carers must comply with Council's policies.

Hot & Cold Weather Policy

Hot Weather Policy:
If the temperature at the pool is 30ºc or greater at closing time, the pool shall remain open until 8:30pm on any such day.

Cold Weather Policy:
If the maximum forecast temperature is predicted to be below 23ºc at the Rainbow Weather station as per the Australian Government Bureau of Meteorology, the facility may be closed at the managers discretion.
