Change a Building Permit

Building permits do have expiry dates for the commencement of work (12 months) and completion of work (2 or 3 years)

If you feel you need more time, you can apply for an extension to your building permit by completing the application form and paying the applicable fee. Please contact the building department on (03) 5391 4444 for further information.
