Part Time, hours negotiable

Salary commencing at $34.61 per hour (plus superannuation)

About the Role

We are seeking an administration officer to support our Planning and Environment team, which oversees the regulatory functions of planning, building, local laws and environmental health.  Responsibilities include supporting the administering of planning applications, local law permits, data recording and reporting, letter writing, raising purchase orders and invoicing, along with maintaining email inboxes, distribution of workflows and customer service.  Excellent attention to detail, communication and organisation skills will ensure that you thrive in this role.

You will also need to be proficient in the Microsoft office suite and willing to learn to use specialised IT software relevant to the position.  Experience in a similar administration position will be looked upon favourably, however, training will also be provided on the job. • Excellent word processing skills

• Demonstrated experience working unsupervised 

• Sound knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel and the ability to adapt to in-house systems

• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to deal with enquiries in a professional and discreet manner

• Ability to plan and organise one’s own work.

• Willingness to undertake a pre-employment medical, police check and Working with Children Check.
