Bookings Officer
Hindmarsh Holiday Parks
Part Time (9am-3pm Monday to Friday)
Salary commencing at $34.61 per hour (plus superannuation)
About Hindmarsh Shire Council

Hindmarsh Shire Council services an area of over 7527km2 and has hybrid Customer Services centres and Libraries in Dimboola, Jeparit and Rainbow and standalone services in Nhill.
Hindmarsh Shire Council manages the Dimboola Riverside Holiday Park, Nhill Holiday Park, Jeparit Holiday Park, Rainbow Holiday Park and Four Mile Beach Campground. This newly created role will be responsible for overseeing bookings for all facilities, supporting the Team Leader Holiday Parks and the other holiday parks teams with rostering, general administration and the Hindmarsh Holiday Parks social media accounts.
We are seeking someone who has excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both in person and on the phone. This position will utilise different computer programs, including the Microsoft suite and specialised bookings programs, so competence in the use of technology will be essential. You will be able to tell us how your skills and experience relate to the following key selection criteria:
• Demonstrated experience providing excellent customer experience (preferably in an accommodation or hospitality context).
• Competence using IT systems, including booking systems and the Microsoft suite.
• Excellent team-work skills, with experience working in a professional team environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to undertake a pre-employment medical, police check and Working with Children Check.
