About the Role

This role is responsible for providing administrative support to Hindmarsh Shire Council’s corporate team, including but not limited to: Human Resources, Finance, Governance, Customer Services, Rates and Communications.  The role will also have a strong focus on the management of volunteers within Hindmarsh Shire Council, ensuring that all volunteers are supported in undertaking their role and complying with Council requirements. This role will provide you with the opportunity to contribute to the breadth of services that Council provides to our community!

About You

If you’re highly organised and professional, love working for the community and within a team – this is the job for you! You will also need to be proficient in the Microsoft office suite, and willing to learn specialised IT software relevant to the position.  Experience in a similar administration position will be looked upon favourably, however, training will also be provided on the job. As you’ll be assisting in several different areas within Council, you’ll need to be able to manage your time and communicate well with a broad range of people.
