PUBLIC TRANSPARENCY POLICY and
COUNCILLOR INTERACTION WITH DEVELOPERS POLICY
At the Council Meeting held on Wednesday 30 August 2023, Hindmarsh Shire Council resolved to give public notice of its draft Public Transparency Policy and Councillor Interaction with Developers Policy and invite written submissions from the public in accordance with the Local Government Act 2020 and Council’s Community Engagement Policy.
Council will consider submissions and adoption of the Public Transparency Policy and Councillor Interaction with Developers Policy at the Council Meeting at 3:00pm on Wednesday 27 September 2023 at the Nhill Memorial Community Centre.
The draft Public Transparency Policy and Councillor Interaction with Developers Policy are available for viewing on Council’s website at www.hindmarsh.vic.gov.au/have-your-say. If you would like to view a physical copy of the draft policies, please contact Council on 03 5391 4444.
Any person may make a written submission on the proposed draft Public Transparency Policy and/or Councillor Interaction with Developers Policy by clicking on the ‘Have Your Say’ link on Council’s website. Alternatively, written submissions can be addressed to the Chief Executive Officer, and posted to Hindmarsh Shire Council PO Box 250, Nhill VIC 3418, or emailed to info@hindmarsh.vic.gov.au.
Such submissions must be received before 5pm on Friday 15 September 2023.
