Christmas & New Year Arrangements

All Customer Service Centres, Libraries and Transfer Stations will be closed Friday 20 December 2024 from 11am – 5pm.
Customer Service Centres and Libraries will then be closed over the Christmas and New Year period from 3pm on Monday 23 December 2024 and will re-open from Thursday 2 January 2025.
All Transfer Stations will be closed on Wednesday 25 and Thursday 26 December 2024.

Transfer Station Hours for Summer Period

The summer operating hours commence on Sunday 01 December 2024 and will continue through until Friday 28 February 2025. During this period transfer stations in Nhill, Dimboola, Jeparit and Rainbow will be open from 9:00am until 12:00noon during normal days of operation.

Alteration to Transfer Station Operating Hours

Hindmarsh Shire Council advise that operating hours for the four Transfer Stations will be changed over Summer, to ensure the safety of staff and residents. Each Transfer Station will operate between 9:00am – 12:00noon from Friday 1 December 2023 to Thursday 29 February 2024 inclusive on the normal opening days. These alterations will also apply to Total Fire Ban Days.
