Temporary Dimboola Coach Shelter

Published on 10 December 2019

Hindmarsh Shire Council has recently erected a temporary shelter in Lochiel Street, Dimboola for passengers to use while waiting to board V/Line coaches or other buses.

Hindmarsh Shire Council Mayor, Cr Rob Gersch said, “The temporary shelter will be in place while plans are being finalised and approvals obtained by V/Line and PTV for permanent arrangements to be put in place”.

Cr Gersch added “My understanding is that the use of Lochiel Street as a coach stop zone has worked well. Apart from a few initial issues and concerns it has been well received by passengers and coach operators which has given Council confidence to finalise permanent plans”.

It is expected that the temporary shelter will be in place until February or March 2020.
