Round 2 Business Assistance Grants Program now open

Round two of the Hindmarsh Shire Council Business Assistance Grants Program is now open. Business Assistance Grants have assisted businesses in generating new employment opportunities, supporting existing businesses to grow and to attract new business to the Shire.

Hindmarsh Shire Council Mayor, Cr Rob Gersch said “the Business Assistance Grants Program helps our local businesses with funding to grow, and attracts new businesses by providing start-up funding. Council strongly recommends businesses who have not previously received a grant to consider applying for funding providing they meet the eligibility criteria.”

“Funding provided to businesses in previous grant rounds has assisted with staff training, development of websites, signage, marketing and improvements to shopfronts.”

Cr Gersch added “Council staff will be happy to assist businesses with any queries they may have prior to submitting an application.”

“Applications are available on the Hindmarsh Shire Council website and they can either be downloaded or completed online.” Concluded Cr. Gersch.

Round two of the Business Assistance Grants Program will close at 5.00pm Friday 14 February 2020.
