Return to Normal Operating Hours for Transfer Stations

Hindmarsh Shire Council would like to inform residents that, effective Saturday 01 March 2025, the Nhill, Dimboola, Jeparit, and Rainbow transfer stations will return to their regular operating hours. The return to regular operating hours will remain in place until further notice.
The regular operating hours will be as follows:

Council encourages residents to keep disposing of waste properly and sorting materials at home. The transfer stations have separate areas for each type of waste including general waste, general recycling, glass collection, green waste, e-waste and chemical containers. If you have any questions, please ask the operator on site. Sorting and placing waste in correct areas helps reduce landfill and supports our efforts to protect the environment.
