Pieces of You – Jigsaw Project Launch and Exhibition

Hindmarsh Shire Libraries will officially open the ‘Pieces of You’ Jigsaw Project with an exhibition launch at the Dimboola Library on Friday 10 May 2024 from 10:00am, including morning tea and a meet and greet with the project photographer.

The ‘Pieces of You’ Jigsaw Project has been developed by Hindmarsh Shire Libraries with funding from Public Libraries Victoria and the State Library Victoria.

The ‘Pieces of You’ Jigsaw Project is an exciting project that has involved a series of photographs of rural scenes, places of interest, towns, and people from across the Shire being turned into jigsaw puzzles.

The exhibition will be held in the Old Shire Hall in the Dimboola Customer Service and Library complex at 101 Lloyd Street, Dimboola and will be on display from Friday 10 May 2024 until Friday 17 May 2024. The exhibition will include both a display of the photographs and a display of the jigsaw puzzles.

Some of the jigsaw puzzles will be available for borrowing from the Dimboola, Jeparit, Nhill, and Rainbow Libraries for library customers or groups such as nursing homes, hospitals, kindergartens, schools, or other community organisations.

Space for the jigsaw puzzles will also be set up in each of the libraries so that you can spend a few minutes - or hours - putting the puzzles together.
