Nhill Skate Park Inspection
Published on 22 March 2019
In conjunction with the contractors, Trinity Skate Parks, who are constructing the new Nhill Skate Park, Hindmarsh Shire Council extends an invitation to interested residents to inspect the new facility during its construction.
Construction is well underway and the invitation to participate in a walkthrough of the site will provide interested people with an opportunity to go behind the scenes during construction.
The walkthrough will be held on Wednesday 27 March 2019 at 4:00pm and people attending are asked to meet in the Jaypex Park car park near the shipping container.
Hindmarsh Shire Council Mayor, Cr Ron Ismay said, “This is a wonderful opportunity to inspect the new skate park during its construction and we encourage anyone who is interested to attend. This is particularly relevant to the youth of Nhill and district who have been instrumental in providing input into the design of the skate park.”
Cr Ismay added, “As the area is still a work site, members of the public are not permitted to enter the site at any other time. This walkthrough inspection will enable people to gain a better understanding of how a skate park is constructed and when the completion date will be”.
Members of the Trinity Skate Park team will be on hand to help answer questions.
