Nhill Caravan Park Masterplan Adopted

Hindmarsh Shire Council has adopted the Nhill Caravan Park Masterplan at the meeting held on Wednesday 5 February 2025.

The masterplan was developed following a comprehensive community consultation process that enabled Nhill residents and community groups, local organisations and industry representatives to express their ideas on how to improve the services, aesthetics and operation of the Nhill Caravan Park.

Improvements identified in the masterplan include the installation of new accommodation cabins, realignment and location of powered sites, a new playground and camp kitchen, redeveloped amenities facilities, emergency exits and improved access, fencing and general landscaping.

The Nhill Caravan Park Masterplan will provide a strategic redevelopment direction for the Nhill Caravan Park for at least the next ten years and will inform future Hindmarsh Shire Council budget development and grant funding opportunities as they become available.
