2025 is off to a very exciting start for kindergarten students in Dimboola and Nhill following the official opening of two new kindergartens on Wednesday 12 February 2025.
Member of the Victorian Legislative Council for Western Victoria, Jacinta Ermarcora MP, visited Hindmarsh Shire to officially open the new Dimboola Primary School Kindergarten and the Nhill College Kindergarten. Both new kindergartens were funded by the Victorian Government, with Nhill Kindergarten receiving funding from the Building Blocks Capacity Grant program, and Dimboola through the Best Start, Best Life Kindergarten on a School Site program.
“It is a fantastic opportunity for the entire communities of Dimboola and Nhill as we open the doors to facilities where the future begins for our youngest residents,” said Cr Chan Uoy, Deputy Mayor. “The new facilities will be places where young minds will be nurtured, curiosity will be encouraged, and lifelong learning will begin,” Cr Uoy added.
These kindergartens are operated on behalf of Council by Emerge Early Years Services.
