Hindmarsh Shire Council April School Holiday Program

School holiday activities are back in Hindmarsh Shire during the April break with two exciting weeks of fun and FREE activities planned across Nhill, Jeparit, Rainbow and Dimboola!

The 2025 April school holiday program will include an array of activities ranging from arts and crafts, making your own Kokedama (meaning "moss ball" in Japanese, Kokedama is a Japanese art form where plants are grown in moss-covered balls of soil), physics with Bruce at Dimboola Vintage, Soccer Clinics, and a Games Day.

Another exciting inclusion is the ‘Shredability’ program where you can learn to skate and scoot in Dimboola, Jeparit and Rainbow, culminating in a skating competition to be held in Nhill.

We have Level-Up gaming coming to Rainbow, and the Nhill Cinema school holiday feature will be ‘Paddington in Peru’.

With the range of activities being held there is sure to be something for everyone!

Hindmarsh Shire Council Mayor, Cr Ron Ismay said, “Hindmarsh Shire Council always punches above our weight with school holidays activities, and this April is no different. There are fantastic opportunities for young people to get outside and be active, learn and have fun with their friends!’

Activities and events will be held over both weeks of the school holidays, and we encourage you to book early to avoid disappointment as some activities may have a limited number of places available.
