Hindmarsh Playgrounds, Outdoor Gym Equipment and Skate parks Re-opened

Playgrounds, outdoor gym equipment and skate parks in Hindmarsh Shire have re-opened following the Victorian State Government announcing Step 2 in the easing of COVID-19 restrictions.

Playgrounds and skate parks throughout the Shire will receive additional cleans and disinfecting to ensure they are safe and ready for you to use.

Mayor, Cr Rob Gersch said, “Whilst it is exciting that the restrictions are easing, we want to remind everyone to adhere to the directives provided by the Victorian State Government.”

Currently people should not gather in groups of more than 20, and stay 1.5 metres apart from others.

Please note, BBQs and drinking fountains will remain closed until further notice.
