Come and join us: Halloween FReeZA Party!

To celebrate Halloween, the Hindmarsh Shire Youth Council is putting on an amazing FReeZA event for the teenagers of the community. Get your best Halloween costume ready to go on Friday 25 October 2019 at the Jeparit Memorial Community Hall for a great night with loads of fun to be had.

Everyone aged 12 to 25 is welcome. There will be a best dressed competition running on the night, with prizes for the top 3 best costumes. The event will begin at 6:30pm. A bus will run from Kaniva via Nhill and Dimboola through to Jeparit while another bus will be running from Rainbow to Jeparit allowing youth from across the Shire to attend.

Tickets are only $10 and cover entrance, food and drink, and the bus to and from the event. A bus will leave from Rainbow (Mecca) at 5:45pm directly to Jeparit. Another bus will leave from Kaniva (KCR) at 5:00pm, picking up attendees at Nhill (Council office) at 5:30pm, and Dimboola (In front of the Library) at 6:00pm. The buses will then make the return trip to deliver everyone back to their hometowns departing at 9:30pm from Jeparit.

If you would like to join this activity you need to buy a ticket before Wednesday 23 October 2019. The kids that need to travel on the bus must fill out the travel permission form available from the Hindmarsh Shire Customer Service Centre’s in each town, on Facebook or with the Youth Councillors. Once it is completed, please return it to the Council by email to youth@hindmarsh.vic.gov.au or via post or give it directly to a Youth Councillor at your school.

This event is supported by FReeZA and Hindmarsh Shire Council. FReeZa events are alcohol, drug & smoke-free, and this event will be fully supervised with no pass outs available.
