Christmas and New Year Arrangements 2024/2025

Hindmarsh Shire Council Customer Service Centres, Libraries, and Transfer Stations will be subject to closures over the Christmas and New Year period 2024-2025.

All Customer Service Centres, Libraries and Transfer Stations will be closed Friday 20 December 2024 from 11am – 5pm.

Customer Service Centres and Libraries will then be closed over the Christmas and New Year period from 3pm on Monday 23 December 2024 and will re-open from Thursday 2 January 2025.

Customer Service Centres and Libraries

All Customer Service Centres and Libraries will resume normal operating hours from the following dates:

• Thursday 2 January 2025 from 9:00am
  • Nhill Customer Service Centre
  • Dimboola Customer Service Centre and Library
  • Nhill Library
• Friday 3 January 2025 from 9:00am
  • Rainbow Customer Service Centre and Library
• Monday 6 January 2025 from 9:00am
  • Jeparit Customer Service Centre and Library

Transfer Stations

All Transfer Stations will be closed on Wednesday 25 and Thursday 26 December 2024.

From Sunday 1 December 2024 until Friday 28 February 2025, Transfer Stations will operate between 9:00am – 12:00noon on their normal opening days.

Waste Collection

There will be no changes to waste collection services over the Christmas period.

The last glass bin collection for this year was on Friday 22 November 2024.
