2024-2025 Regional Community Events Grant Open

Round one of the 2024/2025 Hindmarsh Shire Council Regional Community Events Grants are now open. As part of the 2024/2025 annual budget Council allocated $30,000 to provide funding for Regional Community Events within Hindmarsh Shire. The aim of the funding is to support the establishment and growth of community events that celebrate culture, heritage, and community wellbeing, boost our local economy, and increase visitation to Hindmarsh Shire.

Eligible groups can apply for funding of up to $7,500, made up of cash and in-kind support as determined by Council, for their event if they meet the eligibility and selection criteria.

Grant guidelines and the online application form can be found on the Hindmarsh Shire Council website at www.hindmarsh.vic.gov.au/apply-for-grants.

The application period opens 1 July 2024 and closes at midnight on 31 July 2024. If all allocated funds are not awarded in this round, a second round of the Regional Community Events Grant may be released later in 2024.
