Hindmarsh Round Two Business Assistance Grants Awarded

At its meeting on Wednesday 2 March 2022, Hindmarsh Shire Council awarded two local businesses with grants from the second round of the Business Assistance Grants program for the 2021 / 2022 financial year.
The Business Assistance Grants program consists of two categories; Tier One allows businesses to apply for up to $1,000 without a cash contribution, while Tier Two offers funding contributed by the business, and is capped at $3,000.
No applications were received for funding under Tier One, however a total of $6,000.00 was awarded under Tier Two to two businesses which will provide funding for the repair of large and essential equipment and the purchase of new equipment.
Tier Two successful applicants included:
- Andrew Bertuleit Photography for the purchase of a drone to take aerial photos for a book promoting the Hindmarsh region.
- BP Roadhouse Nhill for the repair of their walk-in freezer.
Hindmarsh Shire Council Mayor, Cr Melanie Albrecht said, “Congratulations to Andrew Bertuleit and the Nhill BP Roadhouse team for their business equipment applications. I particularly look forward to seeing Andrew’s project, of photography promoting the Hindmarsh region, come to life.”
