Pool Season Begins

Nhill Swimming Pool

With the weather warming up, it’s almost time to venture to one of Hindmarsh Shire’s swimming pools. Dimboola, Jeparit, Nhill and Rainbow swimming pools will be open from 2:00pm Saturday 20 November 2021.

YMCA has commenced pre-season preparations and final maintenance checks to ensure the swimming season opens with a splash! Council’s swimming pools are open between November 2021 and 13 March 2022.

Mayor Ismay advised that “All Hindmarsh Shire pools will be opening on Saturday 20 November 2021, weather permitting”. He further stated that “This year we are able to announce that all season passes will be able to be used to access any Council/YMCA pool within the Hindmarsh Shire Municipality”.

Pools will be generally open Monday-Friday from 3:30pm – 6:30pm, and Saturday, Sunday and school holidays 2:00pm – 7:00pm. Daily entry – All Pools

  • Adult – $4.15
  • Child/Student (Under 18) – $3.10
  • Family – $12.50

NOTE: Season tickets do not cover the use of the pool out of contracted hours.

Season Passes (Entitled to full access to all four Hindmarsh pools) provided passes are purchased prior to 25 Dec 2021

  • Adult – $75.00 
  • Child/Student (Under 18) – $55.00
  • Family – $150

Austswim

  • $3.10 per day for non-members. Non swimming spectators free of charge.
