Nhill Caravan Park Amenities Upgrade

Visitors to Nhill Caravan Park are set to enjoy their stay just that little bit more, with a project to refurbish the female and male bathroom facilities recently completed.

The project, with funding from the Victorian Government’s Great Outdoors Camping and Caravan program and Council, has allowed for contractors to strip the existing, dated internal spaces and provide extensive upgrades throughout.

The amenities building now presents as brand new with new shower units, toilet suites, LamiPanel wall paneling, vinyl floor coverings, Colorbond ceilings and vanities and benchtops transforming the building. External upgrades include new roofing and fascia and internally plumbing works have also been completed as a part of this project.

Hindmarsh Shire Mayor Cr Ron Ismay said ‘the timing for this important upgrade at the Nhill Caravan Park is perfect. With Victoria just starting to open up again and holiday maker’s eager to hit the road the fresh, new look amenities at the Nhill Caravan Park will help to provide them all with a pleasurable stay in Nhill.”

Cr Ismay continued “Nhill provides a great starting point for visitors from near and far to visit Hindmarsh Shire. With an abundance of natural and built attractions throughout the Shire we look forward to welcoming them and showing them the best of North West Victoria.”
