Free Green Waste Month going ahead

We are very excited to advise that, due to restrictions easing, we are now able to re-offer our Free Green Waste Month which will be open at all our transfer stations during normal operating hours from Friday 10 September 2021 to Sunday 10 October 2021. The initiative is aimed at encouraging residents to tidy their yards prior to warmer weather starting and the fire danger period commencing.

Hindmarsh Shire Mayor, Cr Ron Ismay said “It’s a great opportunity to enjoy the spring weather whilst exercising at the same time and it gives residents a great opportunity to clean up their properties”.

Normal transfer station hours are as follows:

 Monday   1:30pm - 4:30pm   CLOSED  2pm - 5pm   1pm - 4pm
 Tuesday  CLOSED  10am - 1pm  CLOSED  CLOSED
 Wednesday   9:30am - 12:30pm   CLOSED  2pm - 5pm  CLOSED
 Thursday  CLOSED  2pm - 5pm  CLOSED  CLOSED
 Friday  1:30pm - 4:30pm   CLOSED  9:30am - 12:30pm   2pm - 5pm
 Saturday  10am - 1pm   CLOSED  9:30am - 12:30pm  CLOSED
 Sunday   12:30pm - 3:30 pm   10:30am - 1:30pm   1pm - 4pm   9 am - 12 noon
