An Afternoon with Lucy Stephan

Hindmarsh Shire Council invites members of the community to attend an afternoon with Lucy Stephan at the Nhill Memorial Community Centre on Thursday 19 August 2021 from 4pm to 5pm.

The afternoon will allow community members the opportunity to congratulate Lucy on her success and to hear first-hand her excitement at winning an Olympic gold medal at the recent Tokyo Olympic games.

Hindmarsh Shire Council Mayor, Cr Ron Ismay said “we are excited to have the opportunity to congratulate Lucy on her recent success at the Tokyo Olympic games.” He continued “Lucy is a fantastic role model for the younger generation, showing that if you put your mind to something and work hard you may just achieve your goal.”

The afternoon will be live streamed to Council’s Facebook page to allow community members unable to attend the afternoon in person the opportunity to hear from Lucy.

RSVP is essential as due to COVID-19 restrictions the number of seats available is strictly limited. Please contact Hindmarsh Shire Council on 03 5391 4444 to reserve your seat. No seats will be available on the day without pre-booking and a limit of 2 persons per booking applies. Bookings open at 12 noon Tuesday 17 August 2021.
