2021 Australia Day Award Nominations Now Open

The Hindmarsh Shire Australia Day Awards recognise outstanding community service to the Hindmarsh Shire community during the current year and/or given outstanding service to the community over a number of years. The Awards are provided by the Australia Day Committee (Victoria) and are administered by Local Government Authorities throughout Australia.

Nominations for the 2021 Australia Day Awards are now open and being called for:

  • 2021 Hindmarsh Shire Citizen of the Year
  • 2021 Hindmarsh Shire Young Citizen of the Year
  • 2021 Hindmarsh Shire Community Event of the Year

Now, more than ever, it is important for us to highlight our community members who are shining examples for us all. Persons who have made a noteworthy contribution during the current year and/or given outstanding service to the Hindmarsh Shire community over a number of years shall be eligible.

Nomination forms are available on Council’s website by visiting https://www.hindmarsh.vic.gov.au/australia-day-awards, or can be collected from our Customer Service Offices via appointment by calling (03) 5391 4444 or by emailing info@hindmarsh.vic.gov.au.

Nominations close at 5:00pm, Friday 27 November 2020.
