Hindmarsh Youth Awards - Nominations Closing Soon

Hindmarsh Shire Youth Council is excited to present the inaugural Hindmarsh Youth Making a Difference Awards Night, to be held at the Nhill Memorial Community Centre on the evening of Friday 5 April 2019.

This red carpet event has been organised by Hindmarsh Shire Youth Councillors to recognise and celebrate a diverse range of young people aged between 12 to 25 with varying potential and skills, who volunteer and contribute to their community. There are great prizes to be won just by nominating!

There are seven awards categories open for nominations -

  • Youth Volunteer Award (Individual)
  • Youth Community Award (Group)
  • Youth Artist Award (Individual)
  • Youth Artist Award (Group)
  • Youth Environmental Award (Individual or Group)
  • Business Employee Award (Individual)
  • Young Sportsperson Award (Individual)

Nomination forms can be found at www.hindmarsh.vic.gov.au/news. Nominations close at 5pm on Tuesday 26 March 2019 and can be returned in person to your local Council Customer Service Centre or emailed to youth@hindmarsh.vic.gov.au.
