What is the Victorian Landcare Program?

The 2021—2025 Victorian Landcare Facilitator Program (VLFP) is funded by the Victorian Government and delivered by the Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action (DEECA) through the Victorian Landcare Program.

VLFP funding employs 80 Landcare Facilitators and supports over 740 Landcare and environmental groups across the state to enhance and restore our land and natural environment, improve sustainable agriculture practices, support the planning and development of on-ground works, and build group capacity and resilience.

Hindmarsh Shire Council supports a Landcare Facilitator under the VLFP.
