Justice of the Peace Information Sessions

The Department of Justice and Community Safety are holding 3 free virtual information sessions for those interested in becoming a Justice for Peace. 

Justice of the Peace volunteers play an important role in the Justice system and provide a valuable and accessible authorised witnessing service to all members of the community.

The one-hour information session will provide more detail about the JP role and you will have the opportunity to meet JPs and staff from the Honorary Justice Services Support Team.

We encourage you to read the Justice of the Peace position description prior to attending this information session.

Please note that attendance at this session is mandatory to proceed to the next recruitment and application steps to become a Victorian JP.

These information sessions will be held on:

•  Thursday 10 November from 6pm – 7pm,
• Tuesday 15 November from 6pm to 7pm and,
• Tuesday 22 November from 12:30pm to 1:30pm.
