Hindmarsh Shire Council Grants Awarded

Following Council’s endorsement at its meeting on Wednesday 30 September 2026, 20 community groups, businesses, and event organisers will share funding through Hindmarsh Shire Council’s new 2026/27 Grants Programs. Funding has been awarded through three streams:
• Business Boost grants;
• Connected Communities grants; and
• Regional Event grants

Temporary Road Closure - Rainbow Tractor Pull and Sand Drags Display

Council advises that on Friday 2 October 2026 from 3:00pm to 9:00pm inclusive, there will be a road closure as a result of traffic management measures for the Rainbow Town Committee’s Tractor Pull and Sand Drags Display. Federal Street Rainbow between King Street and West Lane will be closed to all vehicle traffic for the duration of the Traffic Management Plan.
